Thank you! Your support is making a difference
In this episode of Train Talk Rapid Response, Managing Director, External Affairs Holly Reed caps off a great week for the Texas high-speed train in Austin, where Texas Central delivered more than 21,000 of your letters directly to the officials themselves. In all, you have sent more than 100,000 letters to officials since 2015!
While positive momentum continues to build, there is still a lot of work to be done. As specific issues arise we will keep in contact with you. Thank you in advance for your passion for this project.
In this episode, you will also hear directly from Chase Bearden, the Director of Advocacy for Coalition of Texans with Disabilities, who talks about the amazing benefits this project will provide for persons with disabilities.
And, finally, Holly clears up a few misconceptions about the project and reads from some of the letters you wrote, telling legislators why you want a seat on the high-speed train.
We love hearing the stories of why you want to ride the train and how it will improve your life — from connecting families, traveling to medical appointments, discovering new restaurants, seeing your favorite sports team go for the win, experiencing the amazing artistic and cultural amenities Texas has to offer, and beyond. You inspire us. We would love to hear more of them and you can always send them to us via the form on this page! Why are YOU #ReadyToRide?!
