Texas High-Speed Train Named Finalist in Transportation at 2020 Innovation Awards

Texas Central is excited to announce that the Texas High-Speed Train project was named as a finalist in the 2020 Innovation Awards presented by D CEO and Dallas Innovates. It was selected as one of three North Texas projects awarded as a finalist in the 2020 Innovation in Transportation Awards!

The D CEO and Dallas Innovates 2020 Innovation Awards honors the disruptors and trailblazers driving a new vision for North Texas. With various categories to enter and numerous applicants, Texas Central’s high-speed train project was named as a finalist in the transportation category.

Finalists were honored last week at the Tower Club in Dallas. Texas Central’s Holly Reed, Managing Director External Affairs, and David Arbuckle, Vice President of External Affairs, attended the event.

Additional finalists from the evening included UT Dallas, Fort Worth Medical Innovation District and the Design & Innovation Program at SMU. To view the full list of winners and finalists, visit the link here.

In addition to being named a finalist, the companies that were at the event will be included in this month’s issue of D CEO and online at Dallas Innovates. Dallas Innovates also released their annual magazine, Dallas Innovates 2020, at the event.

Texas Central is honored to be included among the top companies and industry leaders making Dallas-Fort Worth a hub for innovation.
